Meet our preschool teachers Constantia Kloof families trust — the heartbeat of Margie's Early Childhood Development Centre. Each Montessori-inspired educator brings a unique blend of expertise, compassion and dedication, united by a shared commitment to nurturing young children in a safe, structured and joyful environment. We know the early years are the most critical stage of life, so our Roodepoort-based team works with real intentionality to support every child's emotional, social and developmental milestones.

Together, our preschool teachers Constantia Kloof relies on foster a nurturing early learning environment where every child feels seen, valued and empowered. Whether through structured lessons, play-based exploration or mindful daily interactions, our Montessori-inspired team is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with children and families across Constantia Kloof. We strive to create a true sense of belonging for every child and family who joins the Margie's community.

Melanie-Jane Lewis

Melanie-Jane Lewis

Melanie- Jane Lewis is the Director and Principal of Margie’s, where she leads with a hands-on approach and a deep passion for early childhood development. She is committed to creating a nurturing, structured, and meaningful environment for young children.

She holds a Post Graduate degree in Psychology and has completed postgraduate training in play therapy, narrative therapy, psychoanalysis, CBT, and DBT. Her diverse therapeutic background allows her to support children’s emotional, social, and developmental needs with insight and care.

Melanie’s experience includes working with children at Brooklyn Chest Hospital in Cape Town, as well as in wilderness therapy programmes with Educo Africa, NICRO South Africa and The Saartjie Baartman Centre. These roles have shaped her belief in resilience, connection, and meeting each child where they are.

With a strong foundation in project management, she ensures that Margie’s runs with both heart and structure—creating a space where learning is intentional, supportive, and joyful.

Jordan Lawrence

Jordan Lawrence

Jordan Lawrence is a valued member of our team who brings a calm, caring presence to her work. She is currently pursuing studies in Early Childhood Development, guided by her genuine love for children and her desire to contribute meaningfully to their growth and wellbeing.

Jordan is known for her kind-hearted nature, patience, and approachable personality. She forms natural connections with those around her and is always willing to offer support where needed. Her gentle, positive energy creates a reassuring and welcoming environment for both children and colleagues.

In addition to her passion for childcare, Jordan has demonstrated strong dedication to sport, having actively participated in athletics throughout her school years. Her commitment and discipline in this area reflect her perseverance and quiet determination.

Sithembi Nzima is a warm, dedicated, and hardworking member of our team who naturally contributes to a caring and positive environment. She is known for her friendly personality, strong work ethic, and dependable approach to her daily responsibilities.

With a cheerful outlook and a wonderful sense of humour, sithembi brings energy and positivity into the space, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both children and colleagues. She has a genuine passion for working with children and demonstrates exceptional patience, kindness, and understanding in her interactions with them.

Her nurturing nature and sense of responsibility make her a valued and trusted part of our nursery school team, and it doesn’t hurt that she’s a great cook too.
